Which protocol does Elastic File System (EFS) use to connect Linux instances?

EFS use NFS(Network file system) protocal to connect linux instances. this allows to connect multiple instances to access the same file system, making it suitable for workloads that require high availabiltity and durability.EFS supports both NFS4.0 and NFS4.1.
