What are the exact steps to set up a repository on GitHub?

Step 1: Sign in to GitHub

Go to github.com

Log in to your account

Step 2: Create a Repository

Click “+” → New repository

Enter:

Repository name

Optional description

Choose:

Public or Private

(Optional) Select:

✅ Add README.md

✅ Add .gitignore

✅ Choose license

Step 3: Click Create repository

✅ Your GitHub repository is now created.
