Cloud infrastructure has several advantages over virtual infrastructure: Scalability – Cloud resources can be increased or decreased quickly based on demand. Pay-as-you-go – You generally pay only for the resources you use, instead of buying expensive hardware. High availability – Cloud providers offer multiple Regions and Availability Zones to improve reliability. Easy management – The cloud provider manages the physical hardware, networking, power, and cooling.
