Explain the implications of deleting a VPC peering connection on the route tables of the connected VPCs.

When a vpc peering connection is deleted, the route tables still keep the old routes but they become invalid(these are called blackhole routes). To avoid issues, remove those routes manually after deleting the peering connection.
Implications:
Blackhole routes
Connectivity loss- instances in both vpc can no longer communicate
No auto recovery

When an EC2 instance is terminated, an attached EBS data volume is not deleted by default. It is detached and remains available.
